This is her thirteenth book. In her diplomatic career she served in the American embassies in Paris and Rome; in the White House she was Jacqueline Kennedy's chief of staff. Perfect - just like I wanted - I used to have a copy of this book, but lost it in the hurricanes. It's just what I wanted and I'm so happy to have it back in my library!!!!It's a sure thing!!!!!!
I had this book years ago and let someone borrow it. Big mistake. I never got it back. I was delighted to see this was still available. It has so much more useful information for business and life than the other etiquette books. No one gets to borrow this one!
Maybe my age is showing but I found this book to be filled with common-knowledge. It was basically a primer for everything my mother ever taught me about common courtesy and manners. While I found some of the reading to be a little informative I was surprised overall that my MBA had this as required reading. If you're thinking of purchasing this and you already have a good sense of professionalism I'd save the money. Very little that stuck with me after I read this that I didn't already have a good sense of knowing.
A must have for any executive. A business buddy of mine recommended this book to me several years ago and I must say - it's certainly helped me in many ways. I intend to purchase the latest version soon.
This book helped me with the Business Dining Etiquette report that I needed to do for Business English in the Spring 2015 semester. It just needs a little bit more information. Well worth the price.
