This is a good book to read for anyone who wants to know what essential oils are and its benefits. It contains vital information on how to get started on using essential oils, safety tips to remember regarding essential oils to avoid with regards to a person’s medical condition and how to use it. I sometimes suffer from insomnia and as much as possible I don’t want to take any medicine for it so reading about how lavender can help my sleeping I am very much excited to give it a try. Peppermint is also one of the essential oils I would like to try in order to help curb my cravings for sweets. This book is teeming with good information and it is something that I will continue to refer to know which essential oil to use for different wellness issues. With this book, I am inspired to have my own home pharmacy of essential oils.

But an experienced oil user can also get some information on additional blends. You will definitely get quick pointers on how to make a blend for this or that!

I found this book very helpful in breaking down which specific essential oils go with what's ailing you. It's fascinating to me to be able to treat so many things naturally with essential oils. I have learned so many interesting things from each of Kathy's books. I can't say enough good things about the work she does to help others.

The cautions tell me this author knows about oils and cares about her readers as not every oil is right for every person (kids, elderly, pets). This book will be my go-to from here on out!!

After seeing some aromatherapy tips on Pinterest I wanted to learn more about specific essential oils, their uses, and the best/safest way to use the oils. This book covered all the bases a beginner could want. I like how the author covers the uses of a smaller set of basic essential oils in one chapter but later cross-references by listing use and all the oils that would fall under that use. I can either look up the name of the particular oil I have and see what I can use it for, or I can look up headache, for example, and see if I have any of the listed oils in stock. In addition to the information in the book, the author references podcasts she's done on certain topics to help explain better to those who are auditory learners.I'm already excited to try out one of her suggestions for peppermint oil after being bitten by a mosquito earlier.

Book leaves me shaking my head just thinking about all the sickos out there. Examples like "Harv the Hammer", Armin the cannibal, and Lisa Marie Montgomery's giving of a lethal c-section hit too close to home and simply leaves me ill. Book highlights (or lowlights might be a better term) 33 of the worst offenders in short order with an active table of content in seemingly random order. Hard to say I really enjoyed the material, but does provide a couple of chapters on how law enforcement hunts the criminals and on internet safety which makes it an informative read. Had enough detail as for my liking and certainly hope they keep these characters out of circulation where they can't do any further harm!

After reading this book, you’ll think twice about accepting that ‘Friend’ request from a stranger. Must-reading for anyone who uses the Internet.

Interesting but I like stories more in depth. However, if you have kids who use social media it is a good book to read and discuss appropriately with your kids. After reading this I was sitting in a hair salon with my daughter. I took a picture of a nice looking boy from a magazine and sent it to her. I acted as if I was the boy and wanted to get to know her. After, we discussed how easy it is for someone to fake an identity using social media. She was kind of surprised.

This is an interesting compilation of crimes committed by using the internet, such as via Facebook and Craigslist.Most of us who use the internet on a daily basis take it very much for granted. We seem to forget that we are sharing private information on a public forum.We've heard about girls (and boys) being targeted by predators on Facebook and people being murdered when they respond to a Craigslist ad. Still we feel safe sitting in front of our computers and other electronic devices.The cases cited in this book should be a wake-up call to remind us to be aware and be vigilant. Pay attention to what information you're sharing with the big bad world.

This was an interesting read. I knew about the dangers of the internet but I was really surprised at some of the social media that is mention it this book. I was also surprised when some the monsters were caught and how short the time they got for doing what they did. This collection showed how it didn't matter how close or how far the monsters lived form their prey if they wanted it they were willing to go to any lengths to get it. Now when I am on some of these sites, especially the dating sites I stop and think can this person I be talking to be one the monsters.

Authors provide a list of scenarios where perpetrators used social media to find their victims. Most of them used fake ads or profiles to get people to contact them and as simple as placing babysitting advertisement and waiting. It provides credible warning that one may never know whose on the other end of an ad, profile, or blog and parents must protect and teach children internet safety just as importantly as looking both ways before crossing a street.

This is one of the most informative books of it's time. Would use it to teach my granddaughters that not everybody are as "kind" as they seem online. Well written and researched. Even at the end with the epilogue on how the police find these predators is fascinating and informative.I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for a honest and fair review.

This book is terrible... its poorly written. Some of the stories are only 3 pages long. And some of the cases haven't even gone to trial yet. Also there's no pics. I was very disappointed.

I have almost all the issues of Faerie Magazine, and I thought this was a great idea to have all my favorite articles in one book. However the size is small and the quality of the images far inferior to the magazine which is a larger size. I wonder why they didn't make this volume the same size as the magazine? If I had known I wouldn't have purchased since I have the magazines. That is my only complaint. I guess it is nice to have if you can't get hold of all the magazines. I get a lot of inspiration from Faerie Magazine and this is better than nothing. They shouldn't have skimped on the quality of the images though - minus one star for that.

Gorgeous book! It is also a wonderful encyclopedia of information, fairy history and lore, stories, crafts, recipes, and so many beautiful images...a joy! The text and choice of text is brilliantly put together. This book is way more than just beautiful. There are things to learn, to enjoy reading, to create and to be inspired by. And it makes the best gift ever for anyone in your life who wants to be enchanted!

I love it very much! Has so much stuff an wonderful art, don't just sit there buy it! All Faery lovers and collectors need this.

I bought both this edition and the Mermaid edition. I wonder if they will have more to offer the series like dragons etc. Beautiful book and great faerie house ideas.

I am in awe with this book, it is written well and the art work is fabulous. So happy I bought this.

I love the book it is so pretty and has so much about fairies. The only thing I didn't like is the book was cut on the fold of the spine but I will put sometime of clear glue to keep it from ripping.
