Terry James' follow-up to his first book, The Nephilim Imperatives:The Rapture Dialogues. We are re-introduced to several of the characters from the first novel Captain Mark Lansing and his wife, Dr. Lori Lansing; Dr. Randall Prouse; and Rev. Christopher Banyon and his wife, Susie Banyon. We are also introduced to the adult Lansing children, Clark and Morgan Lansing; Attorney David Prouse; Kristi Flanigan; Casandra Lincoln; Nigel Saxton, MI7 agent; Jeddy, a super smart rottweiler; and old Zeke, a mysterious mountain man. The story of the dark plans of the Nephilim picks up on September 11, 2001. We are thrown into a dark project/plan led by George Jenkins, a covert ops director; the mysterious Blake Robbins, a covert ops agent; April Warmath, a seductive member of Blake's staff; Dr, Hans Sheivold, a geneticist. The story of this novel is about the continuing plans of the devil and his demons to bring about another age of the Nephilim. The author injects the Borgs (mythical /cryptozoological creatures), possessed servants of the devil, terrorists loyal to Osama Bin Laden, and the Nephal, human/demonic hybrids. The novel moes well until the middle part of the book when it slows down a bit. The characters are well-developed and the relationships are real. The writing style is good but he needed to connect the dots sooner in the novel. Overall, I recommend this book to fans of Christian fiction, End Times and thrillers.
I bought both of these books, “R.A.P.T.U.R.E Dialogs†and “Nephilim Imperatives†back around 2009 in paperback and eagerly awaited the third and hopefully final book in the series. It is now 2016 and I’m still waiting on the finish! Good stories – to bad that Terry James left us all hanging at the end. Buy these if you are a masochist! When and if the final book ever appears I’ll come back and change my review to be more positive. One star because of failed ending!

I read the first book in this series (The Rapture Dialouges) the day it came out, and thought it was chillingly realistic in its depiction of the spiritual warfare taking place around us. Terry James has the unique ability to combine factual happenings and weave them into a fictional setting.I started The Nephilim Imperitives, and knew he had done it again. This sequel was a combination of other-wordly happenings, romance, adventure, and an absolutely riveting story line.I actually felt drawn into the story...a kinship with the characters quickly developed, which, at times, had me jumping out of my chair when the phone rang!I recommend this, and the previous book, to anyone interested in end times material. This is definitely a fresh look at the topic.
I am more than half way finished with this book, and I agree with the commentators, it is very hard to put down. The reviewer Bruce Collins summed it up very well.In light of the mysterious aura, we ARE living like the days of Noah (or Noe) NOW! There is no second guessing it. The folks then were very intelligent (like today). Technology in the past is where we gain our knowledge to build a future. Think about this for a second.This book blows my mind, because every time when there are public news mentioning stem-cell genetic (or regeneration of dead cells, such as the revived heart a bioscientist accomplished the other day) and other research involving reproducing human and animal organs, I start wondering about the disks people saw in Texas (in the sky) and they video-tapped it! I think of how slow in response the National Air Force in TX downplayed the incident as they stated that the glowing lights in the sky were their fighter jets (in practice), yet prior to making this comment, they said they had no jets in the skies that evening! Talk about EEEErrrrie!!! (Just like Area 51 in New Mexico during the 1950's).Now, I know this book was not released until late December 2007; I got my copy in February 2008 (delayed by Amazon.com).I would highly recommend this book as well as getting the first installment (mentioned in previous commentator's post). I also recommend reading Patrick Heron's book, too ("The Nephilim and the Pyramid of The Apocalypse").I also highly recommend a very good (quality) screen producer to transform this book and the other to the big silver screen. * * * * *

The whole concept of Nephilim is quite controversial. Although none of us know, the idea that they may return soon as in times past has a certain allure. Things have already gotten crazy and will get more so as Jesus' return nears. Fun to speculate.
